Abstract

The transition from childhood to adolescence will naturally be experienced by every human, especially by students who are in the final stages of elementary school education. Based on the results of interviews and observations conducted with parents and teachers, several behaviors have emerged, including students being less disciplined, seeking attention from teachers, engaging in misbehavior with other students, and lacking the desire to complete tasks assigned by teachers. The purpose of this research is to create awareness during late childhood. The research subjects were 50 sixth-grade students from Min 13 Blitar. The research method used was an experiment, specifically a one pretest posttest group design, and the data sources were questionnaires distributed to students, as well as secondary data obtained from observations and interviews with parents and teachers. Data analysis was conducted using paired sample t-tests to determine the influence before and after the implementation of the treatment. Based on the research results, there was a significant influence on the students. Students were able to understand themselves and take responsibility for themselves. They were also able to self-regulate better compared to before the test implementation.

Abstrak

Masa transisi anak-anak ke remaja tentunya akan dialami oleh setiap manusia, terutama pada siswa yang sedang menempuh pendidikan akhir tingkat SD. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi bersama orang tua dan guru terdapat beberapa perilaku yang muncul, antara lain siswa kurang disiplin, siswa mencari perhatian guru, siswa berbuat ulah bersama siswa lainnya, dan siswa tidak memiliki keinginan untuk menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membangun awareness pada masa kanak-kanak akhir. Subjek penelitian yaitu 50  siswa kelas VI Min 13 Blitar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan eksperimen, jenis one pretest posttest group dan sumber data yang diperoleh berasal dari angket yang dibagikan ke siswa serta data sekunder berasal dari hasil observasi dan wawancara bersama orangtua siswa dan guru. Analisis data menggunakan paired sample t test untuk mengetahui pengaruh sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan treatment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepada siswa. Siswa mampu memahami dirinya dan bertanggung jawab kepada diri sendiri. Siswa mampu untuk mengatur diri ketimbang sebelum pelaksanaan tes.
